Congratulations once again to Peter Poulos who is absolutely tearing it up this year in the pool. At last Saturday’s long-course meet in Halifax, Peter swam 4 events and set 4 more provincial age group records. Not bad eh? He had already had a very successful meet in Antigonish in February where he swam 4 events and set 4 age group records. Peter downplayed this explaining that 3 of the 4 were in the same events he already set the short-course records for. In my books it’s still pretty frickin’ amazing. Congrats Peter! (long-course times are a little slower than short course because you don’t get the benefit of a push off the wall every 25m)
The results are at: http://swimnovascotia.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/halt-masters-meet-results-march-2018-v3.pdf 400m free 5:29 200 breast 3:12 100 breast 1:25 50 breast 37s As well, don’t forget that this Sunday’s swim is 10-12AM instead of 8-10. Don’t forget the time springs forward Saturday when you go to bed, so it’s only an hour extra sleep and not 2. Great to see the continued good turnouts and lots of folks working towards Tri-the-Mira this July. Peace all CM
